“Gate Buffalo” is handcrafted from wood by Hội An artisans, inspired by the familiar image of the buffalo – a symbol deeply connected to Vietnamese rural life, strength, perseverance, and prosperity. Created for Tết, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, the piece carries a warm wish for stability, abundance, and good fortune in the year ahead.

Created by Hội An artisans, the artwork celebrates the natural character of wood through the signature hand-finishing techniques of Làng Củi Lũ – Driftwood Village. Its strong silhouette, natural wood grain, and handcrafted textures give each piece its own character while reflecting the simplicity and warmth of traditional craftsmanship.

Symbolizing strength, prosperity, and a grounded beginning, “Gate Buffalo” makes a meaningful Tết gift for family, friends, or business partners. It can also serve as a distinctive decorative piece, bringing a touch of Vietnamese countryside spirit and Hội An craftsmanship into contemporary living spaces.
