A TRACE AFTER TYPHOON NORU
Following Typhoon Noru in September 2022, this piece of driftwood was found along the coast of Quang Nam.
Noru Typhoon No. 4 of 2022: was an exceptionally powerful storm as it approached Central Vietnam.
Quang Nam was among the areas preparing for its strongest impacts, prompting large-scale evacuations before landfall.
When the storm passed, fallen trees, damaged buildings and disrupted infrastructure could be seen across parts of Central Vietnam.
Noru became one of the most significant typhoons to affect the region in recent years.
