NAN Thailand 2025 — International Craft & Folk Art Exchange

In September 2025, Lê Ngọc Thuận — founder of Driftwood Village / Làng Củi Lũ — was invited to represent Vietnam at an international knowledge-exchange program hosted in Nan Province, Thailand. Organized by the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA), the event brought together masters of traditional craft and folk art from across the region to share techniques, cultural heritage, and creative approaches to modern craftsmanship.

During the program, held from September 17–19 across Pua, Thawangpha, and Mueang Nan districts, Mr. Thuận joined local Nan artisans and cultural experts in hands-on workshops and dialogue sessions. Alongside fellow Vietnamese creators Võ Đức Anh and Trần Thị Ý, he contributed insights into driftwood artistry, sustainable material use, and the transformation of reclaimed wood into contemporary cultural expression.

His participation highlights Làng Củi Lũ’s commitment to preserving heritage craftsmanship while fostering international collaboration—connecting Vietnam’s creative spirit with the broader network of UNESCO creative cities and traditional craft communities across Asia.
