Very good activity to try in Hoi An
This was a real highlight of our time in Hoi An. Both parents and kids (so from 7 to 55 years old!) got completely absorbed in doing the woodwork. Just enough help from the experts. Highly recommended.

Great place
We had a family day here on a very rainy day in hoi an. What an amazing sanctuary of a place. We painted some wooden pieces and my kid absolutely loved it tho she did spoil mine which broke me ;)

Enjoyable painting workshop
A wonderful calming experience. We very much enjoyed the painting workshop. My 3 year old loved painting her wooden butterfly. You have the opportunity to pick a beautifully carved wooden sculpture, paint it and take it home. The little village is full of studios and people making and carving. Great to watch and you can purchase if you wish. You can also buy a juice. A very enjoyable morning especially for children. You can just turn up and don’t need to do a tour for this. You are very welcomed by the people working here

The best experience!
This place is amazing! Firstly the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. My two sons signed up for a workshop and it was sensational! The level of support they received during the workshop was just the best (my boys are 12 and 9 years old). The level of challenge in the session was so well pitched and the boys learned so much. The woodwork available to view and purchase was so good and being able to observe the staff making and creating was also very cool. The facility is located in a very beautiful location, surrounded by rice fields and bike tracks. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended for children who like to make things and enjoy hands on experiences.

Art Workshop with Local Craftsmen in Rice Paddies at Local Workshop & Gallery
Very unique experience working with local carpenters to create wooden art and painting courses. Excellent time working together as a family and learning new skill. Beautiful property filled with recycled wooden art. Worth a visit for workshop or just tour of art galleries.

Chilled workshop highly recommended
The wood carving workshop is so much fun, we would love to do it again! We can very much recommend it the place is lovely and the shown art alone is worth visiting. The workshop is well organised and from the welcome drink, the tips and tricks of the artisan and the chilled atmosphere makes it a superb event for half a day thanks again!

Learn the art of traditional Vietnamese wood carving in a beautiful setting with skilled friendly local artists
Our visit to the carving workshop was amazing! My 13 year old daughter and I love artistic activities and have always wanted to try carving wood so when we found out there was a traditional workshop in Hoi An we were delighted to sign up From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly staff who showed us the galleries and taught us about the history of carving in the area. After exploring the many lovely pieces of art created by local artisans we were introduced to a master carver who assisted us throughout our workshop. We were served delicious refreshing drinks while we discussed the steps of our projects. We selected our wood, picked out a design, sketched our images with pencil and jumped right into carving. Our woodworking master was very patient and helped us whenever we had struggles. The interpreters were very cheerful and answered our many questions about carving and Vietnamese woodworking culture. Once our carvings were finished we were offered the option of painting them with acrylic paint or leaving them natural. My daughter decided to paint her carving and was instructed on the best techniques to achieve the look she wanted. I decided to leave my work unpainted, smoothed the carving with sandpaper and carved my initials on the back. Once our projects were done our interpreter ordered a taxi for us and told us more about art culture in Vietnam. Our finished pieces are gorgeous and we will be so proud to hang them on our wall at home! This experience was very special and we are very pleased We highly recommend this workshop to anyone who loves art and wants to spend quality time together! Thank you all so much We will be back in the future

Beautiful space with beautiful artworks! As an artist I can personally vouch for this place. It's a refreshing getaway from the hustle of the Old Town... The staff are very friendly and attentive. Great place for family gathers, visitors who are interested in cultural activities off the beaten path.
