A TRACE AFTER THE STORM
Following Typhoon Kalmaegi in November 2025, this piece of driftwood was found and collected from Dien Ngoc Beach.
Kalmaegi – Typhoon No. 13 of 2025 entered the South China Sea on 5 November as a powerful typhoon. While moving across the sea, the storm reached Force 13–14, with gusts up to Force 16, and continued towards Central Vietnam.
Its area of influence extended across Central and South-Central Vietnam. Da Nang and the Chu Lai area were among the locations placed on high alert as the storm approached, while the central coastline experienced strong winds, high waves and extremely rough seas.
